The Wyoming Advisory Panel for Students with Disabilities (WAPSD) will hold public meetings Nov. 13-14 at the Gateway Building at Casper College. The panel serves as a forum by which issues and benefits regarding current and potential services to individuals with disabilities are discussed.

According to a news release, the purpose of the Wyoming Advisory Panel for Students with Disabilities is to provide policy guidance with respect to special education and related services for children with disabilities in the state. The Wyoming Advisory Panel exists under the authority of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Implementing Regulations.

Those wishing to provide public comments regarding the education of children with disabilities in Wyoming are encouraged to attend and make their comment any time between 4:30- 5:00 p.m. on November 13. Individuals unable to attend the meeting in person may call into the meeting to listen or offer comment using the number 1-877-278-8686 with a Pass Code of 095102.
