7:07AM MDT: John Groom...The White House Spends What?  Groom is the author of the
upcoming book “The $1.4 Billion Man: Expenses of the Obama White House”, the first ever complete, carefully researched documentation of presidential spending which includes vacations, the presidential jet and helicopter fleets, the White House building and park, the most expensive health care in the world, Secret Service, personal staffing and much more.  While President Obama positions himself a champion of the middle class and foe of Wall Street, John Groom says the fact is that he lives a taxpayer funded lifestyle that few if any moguls could afford. Imagine spending $500 million for each presidential helicopter, $9 million for a Hawaii vacation and $1 million for date night with your wife.  You’ll hear why each night at Camp David costs $711,000, the presidential dog walker earns $100,000 plus, and the Obama family health plan costs a whopping $7 million bucks. John Groom has written for the Washington Post, Builder, Export Today and other publications.
