Nothing else hallmarks the great town of Cheyenne like charity and volunteerism. The new  K9s 4 Mobility Training Facility is a product of what people can do for their fellow man.

Today, March 26, 2015, marks the grand opening of the new K9s 4 Mobility facility, located about 10 miles east of Cheyenne, near the Hereford Ranch.

I recently showed up there for the event along with Governor Matt Mead, Mayor Rick Kaysen and a host of volunteers, dignitaries and donors who helped make this facility a reality.

The name of the facility is the Colter Allen Training Facility, named after donor Leeds Pickering's grandson, who died at just 8 days old in 2011. So we asked people from the community what they thought about the new facility and how it will benefit our special needs community.
