Ty Zwonitzer has announced that he is running as a Republican for the Laramie County Commission.

Zwonitzer says he is a fifth-generation resident of Laramie County with deep roots in Cheyenne. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Business Management. He is an engineer with Cheyenne Fire Rescue and has previously worked as a local realtor and as a land management specialist for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. He has also managed his family's three-generation furniture and auction business.

Zwonitzer Says Managing Growth Is A Top Issue

In the words of the release announcing his campaign:

Zwonitzer's decision to run for Laramie County Commissioner is driven by his deep concern for the rapid growth occurring in the region. He believes in helping responsibly manage the escalating growth and its effects on both city and county residents.  He is committed to implementing strategies which ensure development in Laramie County is sustainable and preserves our unique Wyoming way of life.
