Trailer Fire Put Out

Firefighters from Cheyenne Fire & Rescue quickly snuffed out a semi-trailer fire in the Albertson’s parking lot, 3355 East Pershing Boulevard, late Monday night.

No injuries were reported.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 11:53 p.m., arrived on scene at 11:57 p.m. and had the fire under control at 12:05 a.m. When firefighters arrived on scene they found a 53 foot semi-trailer about 50 percent engulfed in fire.

The trailer was loaded with recyclables to be returned to the grocery stores’ warehouse. Cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

So far there is no damage estimate on the fire.
