Thursday on The Morning Zone

Malsolm Out Loud-Political Commentator

Today will be an exceptionally busy and informative day on The Morning Zone with Dave Chaffin. Here is our guest line-up.:

7:07AM MDT:  Malcolm Out Loud, National News and Political Commentator, will be with us live from the RNC and be bringing his always irreverent and witty opinion on the news of the convention. On site and in the know, Malcolm Out Loud illustrates the happenings at the Republican National Convention and bring listeners right into the action on the floor.

7:37AN MDT: ASK -LOCAL-EXPERT, Travis Lingenfelter, Marketing Director at Pointe Frontier Retirement Community in Cheyenne is back with us and today, Judy Engelhart from The Cheyenne Genealogical and Historical Society will be on with him.  Anybody ever wondering how to begin researching their family history will want to tune in for this show!

8:07AM MDT:  Ilya Katz is an  EX-SOVIET CHALLENGING WASSERMAN-SCHULTZ: Running as Independent for a FLorida Congressional Seat.  Whenever someone even implies that Washington’s current leadership, starting with Obama, Reid and Pelosi, is radical Left—or, dare we say, socialist—the mainstream media and other politically correct pundits scoff……which only fuels the fire of Ilya Katz, a former political refugee from the Soviet Union, now living and working in the United States as a satirist.
At the height of the Cold War, Katz fled the former Soviet Union’s socialist oppression in favor of the ideal that was the United States of America. But is the key word in this phrase “was”?

8:37AM MDT: Rafael Medoff  joins us to talk about the Jewish vote as a factor in U.S. politics. One does not usually think of the conventions of the major U.S. political parties as having any particular impact on Jewish history. But 68 years ago, the Republican National Convention adopted a plank that would shape the future of U.S.-Israel relations and redefine the role of Jewish voters in American politics.
This surprising turn of events was the result of efforts by an unlikely trio: a former president, a maverick journalist-turned-congresswoman and the father of Israel’s current prime minister. Rafael Medoff is director of the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies and the coauthor with Sonja Schoepf Wentling of the new book “Herbert Hoover and the Jews: The Origins of the ‘Jewish Vote’ and Bipartisan Support for Israel.”

9:07AM MDT: Roger Aronoff, Editor of AIM and has vast editorial experience that he brings to AIM on a daily basis through his investigative analysis of the liberal mainstream media. He is also an accomplished TV producer, director, writer and distributor, whose award-winning documentaries have attracted worldwide attention. His analysis of Fast and Furious breaks down the scandal and describes how the media ignored it as long as they could. The Solyndra scandal is the tip of the iceberg, where the Obama administration’s push for green jobs has resulted in few if any jobs for Americans.
