Council Awards Training Grant [AUDIO]

The Wyoming Workforce Development Council has awarded the newly-re-opened Saratoga Sawmill, now known as Saratoga Forest Management a $50,000 grant to train 22 workers. Joy Greenwald has a report. A comprehensive grant writing program will be offered at the Plains Hotel inn Cheyenne April 29-May 2. Amy Richards reports.

Heart Stress-Test Radiation Concerns [AUDIO]

Heart disease kills roughly 1 in four state residents. Dr. Martha Gulati says that while using imaging with heart stress-testing can be a cost-effective and effective test for heart problems, she is concerned about exposing patients to radiation without considering the consequences. The Wyoming Workforce Development Council, in partnership with the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, honored five outstanding employers, individuals and projects during the Governor's Summit on Workforce Solutions Awards.
