The Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff's Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol took part in the Cheyenne leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run  for Special Olympics Thursday morning, with a runner bearing the torch through several downtown Cheyenne streets, accompanied by a group of runners and led by vehicles from local law enforcement agencies.

On May 10, 11 and 12 over 800 athletes, coaches and partners from all over the Cowboy State will arrive in Laramie for the 2012 Special Olympics Wyoming Summer Games competition.
