Lummis Joins Repulicans in Calling for Holder’s Resignation

On Friday, U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis joined 48 members of the House in filing H. Res 35, expressing no confidence in Attorney General Eric Holder and calling for his immediate resignation. The resolution comes in reaction to the botched operation “Fast and Furious,” under which the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms authorized thousands of rifle sales to known or suspected straw purchasers but then failed to track the weapons after the sale.
