Soybean Crop Estimates Up [AUDIO]

Increased late season rains have raised estimates on production and yield levels for the nation's soybean crop, according to Gerry Bange of the World Agricultural Outlook Board. Recent Rain Helps Soybean Crop But Not Corn [AUDIO]

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer that was pulled over during a traffic stop over the weekend was carrying 231 pounds of marijuana worth almost $1.4 million dollars. Doug Randall reports.  The recent rain is too little too late to help the deteriorating corn crop, but has helped the soybean crop somewhat, that's according to u.s.d.a meteorologist Brad Rippey. Drought Reducing Corn, Soybean Crops [AUDIO]

The nation's corn and soybean crops are experiencing declining yields due to drought conditions in parts of the country. The U.S.D.A  had projected a record  harvest, but officials say as much as 60 percent of the corn crop is facing moderate to extreme drought. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has rejected a proposal to allow unlimited mountain lion hunting in parts of the Black Hills. Amy Richards has a report.
