Bogus Medical Equipment Scam Reported

A spokesman for the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department  says a new telephone scam involving the bogus delivery of medical equipment has been widely reported.

Dick Blust says the scam begins with a recorded phone message telling the intended victim that their "medical adviser" has approved a "medical appliance" for the person which needs to be delivered
