A Cheyenne man could face life in prison after allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend and preventing her from leaving his home by threatening to kill her.
The jury found Travis Bogard, 25, guilty of one count of first degree sexual assault. The jury ruled he was not guilty of the kidnapping and confinement charge.
The state alleged, and the jury agreed, that Winters carried the boy across the river to a densely-wooded area on the north bank, took his clothes off and sexually abused the boy.
