Bear Resistant lockers Donated to Bridger-Teton National Forest

The Bridger-Teton National Forest has been given 2 bear resistant lockers purchased by the Greater Yellowstone Coalition which will be installed near Turpin Meadows and Pacific Creek.

The containers will be installed for outfitters to store livestock feed and other bear attractants

Combining Forests in Wyoming and Idaho A Concern [AUDIO]

Many Wyoming officials say they are concerned about the prospect of combining management of the Bridger-Teton National Forest in northwestern Wyoming with the Caribou-Targhee National Forest in southeastern Idaho. Fire Danger In Teton County “Very High”

Teton Interagency Fire managers have elevated the fire danger to Very High for both the Bridger-Teton National Forest and Grand Teton National Park as of Tuesday, July 3. Recent hot temperatures, low humidity and windy conditions have increased the potential for intense fire activity. Local residents and visitors alike should exercise an extra measure of caution and practice heightened fire safety at all times.
