A recent telephone survey of adult Wyoming residents shows most are satisfied with how WYDOT is managing the state's transportation system, according to a press release from the agency.

WYDOT spokesman Dave Kingham 79 percent or respondents said they were satisfied overall with WYDOT, while 2 percent said they were not and 19 percent were neutral. Kingham says the survey did show some concerns about highway construction projects in the state, with only 45 percent saying the projects were usually completed on time.

But Kingham says an internal review shows that roughly 80 percent of such projects are finished on schedule, with many of those that are not delayed by weather conditions. The survey was conducted by the Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center at the University of Wyoming, which questioned 991 Wyoming adults between November 27 and December 16th of 2012.
