The State Canvassing Board has certified last week's primary election results.

Secretary of State Max Maxfield says two write-in candidates in state legislative races received enough votes to make the general election ballot if they accept their nomination.

The write-in candidates are: Linda Fleming of Baggs, Democratic candidate, Senate District 11, and Harlan Edmonds of Cheyenne, Republican candidate, House District 12.

Maxfield says the names of candidates who will appear on the general election ballot will be determined as soon as all write-in candidates have notified his office of their acceptance or refusal of the nomination.

According to state statute, Sept. 4 is the last day for the Secretary of State to certify the list of names for the general election ballot to each county clerk.
