Smoke Detector Checks Urged

Laramie County Fire District two spokesman Lew Simpson says with the time change coming up this weekend, now is the time to make sure your smoke detector is in working order. Simpson says most smoke detectors have a test button, which you should check on a monthly basis. He says it's also a good idea to change your batteries twice a year, with the spring and fall time changes being an ideal schedule. Simpson says ideally you should have a working smoke detector in every room of your home.
