The big day is tomorrow to vote in the Wyoming primary. Secretary of State Max Maxfield is reminding employers that they must give employees an hour off to vote tomorrow August 19, 2014 for the Wyoming primary election.

This is according to a Wyoming law W.S. 22-2-111 which states that employers must give their employees an hour off on election day to vote. Under the statute, the hour cannot be during an employee's lunch hour, however the time frame can be determined by the employer.

If employers don't give the their employee's time to vote, they may be in violation of the statute and could face a misdemeanor criminal charge with a possible fine of up to $1000.00.
