Mead Sees ‘Fiscal Cliff’ In Federal Deficit

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead says he is growing increasingly concerned about the federal debt and budget deficit. Mead said Wednesday morning that he doesn’t think the current federal budget policies are sustainable over the long term. Mead says as he sees both the federal debt and budget deficit rising he thinks it’s reasonable to ask ”how is this going to work? How is this sustainable?” Mead says the answer is clearly not to simply print more money, adding he has serious concerns about inflation and the value of the dollar over the next few years.
