We have the Presidents State of the Union, and Governor Mead's State of the State, but we also have a State of the District happening this week in Cheyenne.  There is a lot of talk about performance measures in Laramie County, which is important for the future of our community and our future.

Join LCSD1 Superintendent John Lyttle as he extends his invitation to the parents, students and residents of the Cheyenne community for the State of the District address.

Mr. Lyttle will provide an inside look at the districts performance of teachers, students and test scores. The event will take place Monday, October 10, 2014 at 6 p.m. and the public is invited.

This years event will be held at South High School Auditorium, located at 1213 W Allison Rd in Cheyenne. The public is also invited to stick around from 7-8 p.m. to provide feedback during group break-out sessions in the class room.

The district is also soliciting your help and feedback with the Laramie County School District #1 Parent Survey. Please take a moment, 2-3 minutes of your time, and engage in this request, to help our school, children, teachers and administration better serve.

The website for the LCSD1 Parent Survey is located here: Take The Parent Survey.
