UPDATE: LCSD1 Elementary, Jr. High & High School Activities Cancelled

UPDATE:

All elementary, junior high and high school after-school activities and sports have been cancelled for today.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Laramie County School District 1 officials have cancelled all elementary and junior high after-school activities for today.

High school administrators will evaluate and make their own determination regarding whether to continue with sports and other after-school activities.

School will remain in session throughout the afternoon, but parents who feel it is warranted can pick up their kid(s) from school at any time and it will be recorded as an excused absence.

LCSD1 officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and make a determination on whether schools will be open in the morning. This will take place prior to 5:30 a.m.
