Kaysen Says Apartment Complex Planned North of Walmart

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says a company known as Scenic Development is making plans for a 320 unit apartment complex just north of Walmart in Cheyenne. Kaysen says that although all of the details of the Cheyenne complex are not yet clear, other complexes he has seen that were built by the same company featured spacious open areas and and a generally clean, well kept appearance. Kaysen says rumors that the complex will feature a ''military barracks'' appearance are simply not true, adding the complex will offer affordable housing in the Cheyenne area. The complex is to be built on property formerly owned by Frank Cole of Cheyenne.
