With 100 percent of precincts reporting on Tuesday evening, unofficial results indicated that Laramie County District Attorney Scott Homar had narrowly lost the Republican nomination for that office to challenger Jeremiah Sandburg.

According to figures from the Laramie County Clerk's office Sandburg had garnered 7,184 votes--or 50.82 percent-to Homar's 6,935 or 49.06 percent. However, those figures are unofficial and a recount in the race looms as a possibility.
