Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon on Friday announced that he will allow a bill that gives the state jurisdiction over malt liquor licenses for rodeos in venues that seat at least 7,500 people to become law without his signature.

The bill grew out of complaints that the city of Cheyenne was using the license as leverage to force Cheyenne Frontier Days to pay for increased police presence at Frontier Park during CFD.
