Gov. Mead Declares Women’s Range Day in Wyoming

Governor Matt mead signed a proclamation Wednesday declaring the 4th Tuesday of every month as " Girls' night out at the Range " and August 6th 2013 as " National Women's Range Day in Wyoming."  The Governor was joined by April Strong a facilitator for " A Girl and a Gun" women's shooting club, which is launching its first chapter in Wyoming. Strong, a certified firearms instructor, says the purpose of the organization is to teach women how to shoot properly and safely and in a comfortable environment. Strong says "A Girl and a Gun", is the nations fastest growing women's shooting club.
