East Lincolnway at Logan Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for westbound and eastbound motorists starting on Wednesday, April 1, weather permitting, according to a release from the City of Cheyenne.

The closure is part of the Logan Avenue Reconstruction Project. Traffic will be shifted to the north lanes for three to four weeks and then to the south lanes for another three to four weeks.

City officials are suggesting drivers find alternate routes if they have no business along East Lincolnway.

During peak traffic hours, motorists can expect delays, according to city officials.

The Logan Avenue Reconstruction Project is paid for through the Fifth-Penny Sales Tax.
