ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) — An accident involving a bulldozer has killed a worker at the Bridger Coal Mine near Rock Springs.

Sweetwater County officials say the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Sheriff’s officials say the bulldozer went over the mine’s high wall. They say 44-year-old Mark Christopher Stassinos was ejected from the dozer and killed.

Stassinos was a two-year employee of the mine. He was the only person inside the bulldozer.

Mine officials say the high wall was about 160 feet high. Mining operations have stopped while the accident is investigated.
