Good-bye's are not always easy, but they are a part of life. Laramie County Community College has had to bid farewell to a wonderful athletic director.  Vision, leadership and knowledge of the job are just a few traits that make for a successful athletic director. That was found in Pete Cautilli, LCCC's first full-time athletic director.

Cautilli didn't just sit in the seat of do-nothing. In the two years that he held the position of athletic director, he developed renovations plans for the physical education facility and created the LCCC Sport Institute and Youth Camp.

He has now headed back to the place where he initially started, Philadelphia. Although he grew up a few hours away from Philly, it was close enough for him. He has taken a position as the senior associate athletic director for development at Temple University.

We wish him the best in his new endeavor, and I'm sure he will leave good prints in Philadelphia as he has here in Cheyenne.
