Have you watched the 'Big Hero 6' movie yet?

You'll get a chance to see it for free this summer as part of Cheyenne's Movies in the Park lineup at the Lions Park softball fields.

The city of Cheyenne's free Movies in the Park series returns for 2015 with a film being shown each month during the summer on the big inflatable screen at the softball fields near Sloans Lake. Here's a look at this year's lineup:

  • 'Box Trolls'-Tuesday, June 16
  • 'Top Gun'-Tuesday, July 14
  • 'Big Hero 6'-Tuesday, August 18

The movies begin at sundown and viewers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and be prepared for any changing weather. Free popcorn is served and other food and beverages are offered for sale.

Before the screening of 'Top Gun,' the 1986 film starring Tom Cruise, the U.S. Navy Band will perform as they will be in Cheyenne for Navy Week. Usually before each film, some sort of entertainment is provided for the crowd while the sun is setting.

Get out and enjoy a little fresh air with the family while watching a movie under the stars, it's kind of like being at the drive-in theaters in the old days.
