A criminal history check showed Sorensen was convicted in Laramie County in Nov. 2011 for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Sept. 2013 for misdemeanor possession of crack cocaine and marijuana.

There were also numerous entries that showed arrests and convictions for failure to appears on other drug charges.

Sorensen has been charged with third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison.

Sorensen is currently being held on $5,000 cash bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 25 in Laramie County Circuit Court.
