Cheyenne Police: Make Way For Emergency Vehicles

Cheyenne Police Department

The rules haven’t changed: if you’re out driving, and an emergency vehicle with flashing lights approaches, give them space.

Motorists are also required to move over when such vehicles are parked by the side of the road on a call. The department has a video posted on its Facebook page from an unfortunate incident in Iowa involving an emergency vehicle as a reminder to local motorists about the hazards of not adhering to these rules.

The Cheyenne Police Department reminds motorists they can be ticketed for not doing so.
