Cheyenne's drinking water meets or exceeds all EPA  and local water requirements according to a new report from the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities, according to BOPU spokesman Clint Bassett. He credits the fact that Cheyenne has excellent water resources, including water from mountain streams in the Laramie and Medicine Bow Mountain Ranges as well as the high plains aquifer. Basset says the other factor in the high grades for Cheyenne's water supply is the hard work of BOPU employees, adding there is never a time when someone is not watching over Cheyenne's drinking water supplies.
