Cheyenne police are investigating a burglary that took place in Sun Valley last week and are asking residents who live in the area to check their security cameras.

According to a department Facebook post, the burglary occurred around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the 1100 block of Morningside Drive.

"According to statements, at least three males were involved in the incident," the post reads. "One shattered a sliding glass door to enter the home and several items were stolen from inside."

Police say the subjects then fled the scene in a blue Subaru Outback with possible Pennsylvania plates.

They say security camera footage captured the Outback as well as a blue Chevrolet Cruz that might be connected to the burglary.
