The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne received a $750,000 from the Daniels Fund to the Club to help build its new facility.

This is in addition to a previous $250,000 grant from the Daniels Fund made in 2011, also for the Capital Campaign. Rolinda Sample, the club's Cheif Professional Officer, said the grant from the Daniels Fund "moves us a huge step closer to being able to finish our building and start reaching more young people in our community.”

The new facility on W. Jefferson, will double the Club’s membership capacity from 500 to about 1,000 youth every year as well as improve its ability to reach the kids who need it most.

Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television known for his kindness and generosity to those in need, established the Daniels Fund to provide grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
