Wyoming Cowboy Basketball Tied to ESPN Special on NCAA Tournament

The only player to have his number retired and hanging in the rafters at the Arena-Auditorium will be part of an ESPN special celebrating the 75th year of the NCAA Tournament. Former Wyoming Cowboy great and College Basketball Hall of Famer Kenny Sailors is part of the network's look back at some the great moments in the tournament's history.

UW Basketball Seniors to be Honored April 10 in Cheyenne

Congratulations to all of the seniors on the University of Wyoming men's and women's basketball teams on their outstanding seasons.

Although both teams wish they had made it farther in post-season play, it was a very successful year for the Cowgirls and Cowboys.

Senior members of both teams will be honored by the Cheyenne Quarterback Club in partnership with the Cowboy Joe Club on April 10.

Who Will Snap the Ball for the Wyoming Cowboys in 2013?

It may be something that you take for granted when watching football, but it might be the biggest key of all. What is it? The snap. It starts every play and is very critical as to whether a play is run correctly or possibly ruined from the beginning. During this spring practice, the Wyoming Cowboy football team is trying to find a new center to trigger each play. It's a competition that has a good chance of carrying over into fall camp this August.

Gorrell and Boehme Leave Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball Program

In a bit of a surprising move, the Wyoming Cowgirls are losing two more players than was originally expected after the 2012-13 season wrapped up on March 21st. University of Wyoming head women’s basketball coach Joe Legerski announced Tuesday that forward Aubry Boehme and guard Alison Gorrell have decided not to return to the Wyoming basketball program next season to pursue other opportunities.
