A bill that would prohibit the teaching of Critical Race Theory in Wyoming classrooms and in workplace training for public employers has been filed in the Wyoming Legislature.
If approved, a copy of the resolution would be sent to the Governor of California. That state has ordered a ban on the sale of all new gasoline-powered cars and light trucks by 2035.
Medicaid Expansion has been a contentious issue in the legislature for many years. Proposals to expand the program in Wyoming have repeatedly been defeated.
The legislature alternates roughly month-long budget sessions with two-month general sessions. 2023 is a general session and is slated to run through roughly March 3.
