CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The first woman to command the Wyoming Army National Guard plans a presentation on "Women in the Military," at Casper College.

Brig. Gen. Kathy Wright's command includes units located throughout Wyoming with more than 1,700 soldiers. She began her military career in 1973, and was the sixth female to enlist with the Wyoming Army National Guard.

Wright is set to speak Thurs., March 21 at 7 p.m. at the room 225 of the Gateway Building on the Casper College campus. The address is free and open to the public.
