Making a six figure income doesn't require a suit and tie anymore. Now more than ever, blue collar workers are making big bank doing what they do best.  Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some of the top blue collar jobs where people are making six figure incomes a year. Maybe this is you also.

  1. Welders - One man, 24 years old who also attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas, brings in about $140,000 a year.
  2. New York Police Officers - Depending on your rank and tenure, some of the folks from "New York's Finest" are bringing in upwards of $130,000 a year.
  3. Bartenders - In upscale markets, and if you're really good, some bartenders are making up and over $100,00 a year.
  4. Construction Workers - It all depends on how busy one of these guys are a year, construction workers and project managers can anywhere from $30,000 to $110,000 a year or more.
  5. Farmers and Ranchers - According to career trends analyst Scott Dobroski, farmers and ranchers can bring home six figures a year. Agriculture managers have been said to of made figures in the neighborhood of $119,550 a year.
