Taliban RPG Claims 37 in Afghanistan Helicopter Crash

Taliban insurgents shot down an American military helicopter in Afghanistan Saturday, killing 30 American troopsm seven Afghan commandos and an interpreter, multiple news outlets are reporting.

Patrol Identifies Four Washout Accident Victims, One Survivor
July 19, 2011 The Wyoming Highway Patrol has released the identity of the four Coloradans killed this morning when their van drove into a washed out portion of Wyo. 130, Snowy Range Road, near Ryan Park.
According to WHP spokesman Sgt. Steven Townsend, a mother and three children drowned in flash flood waters after their 1991 VW camper van plunged into a washed out section of Wyo. 130.

Cheyenne Day of Giving is Friday
May 12, 2011 Help make Friday the 13th a little brighter day for the disadvantaged in our community, by supporting the Sixth Annual Cheyenne Day of Giving.
The Day of Giving is a chance for members of the community led by area congregations, businesses and community groups to team up and provide help and support for the sick and economically disadvantaged of our community.
The main event will again be at the Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park this year, and a telephone hotline for monetary donations has been set up, as well.
In addition, Dave Chaffin will be discussing the event from 9-10 am in The Morning Zone.
