A Longmont, Colorado woman who was recently released on bond from Adams County, Colorado for distribution of methamphetamine is now facing felony drug charges in Wyoming.

Christine Evans, 35, was arrested in Cheyenne on Sept. 24 after police conducting a traffic stop reportedly found baggies containing 53.7 grams of methamphetamine and 3.6 grams of heroin as well as 2.8 grams of Xanax pills in her bra.

Police also found a scale, a large sum of money, a small container of black tar heroin and a baggie containing 3.3 grams of methamphetamine in Evans' purse, according to an affidavit.

Evans is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of heroin and possession of Alprazolam (Xanax).  If convicted on all three counts, she could face up to 16 years in prison.

Evans is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $10,000 cash bond.  Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 3 at 3 p.m.
