The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says wind gusts 83 miles per hour were recorded this past weekend near Bordeaux in southeast Wyoming.

Several other gusts of over 70 miles per hour were recorded, including a 74-mile-per-hour blast near Buford in Laramie County.

A 68-mile-per-hour gust was recorded near F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

And 61 miles per hour gusts were recorded in Laramie and at the Cheyenne Airport. The agency posted this graphic on Sunday at 4:45 p.m. for peak wind speeds over the previous 24 hours:
