Duke-American Transmission Co. has rescheduled a Zephyr Power Transmission Project open house in Wheatland, Wyo., originally scheduled for earlier this month but was cancelled due to inclement weather.

When: Tuesday, Apr. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Where: First Bank Conference Center, 1405 16th St., Wheatland, Wyo.

The Wheatland open house is part of a series being hosted by DATC to seek public feedback on its proposed route for the Zephyr Power Transmission Project, an approximately 850-mile transmission line that would deliver wind energy generated in eastern Wyoming to population centers in the southwestern U.S.

Landowners potentially impacted by the proposed route for the Zephyr project will receive invitations with updated open house information. Anyone interested in learning more about the project or providing feedback on the proposed route is invited to attend.
