GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) — A 50-year-old Wyoming woman has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $310,000 from a Wyoming trucking company over a five-year period.

As part of the plea agreement to five counts of felony theft, Sally Hansen of Gillette has agreed to pay full restitution to Tisdale Creek Ranch before she is sentenced on March 20.

Prosecutors are recommending a six-month jail sentence followed by three years of probation. Deputy Campbell County Attorney Angela Doughtery has said the jail sentence was requested by the victims.

Hansen, who worked as a bookkeeper for the trucking company, can argue for a probationary sentence.

Company officials discovered the theft when Hansen was on vacation. Court records say three checks totaling nearly $108,000 were used to pay off vehicle loans.
