Wyoming Post Office Reopens After Truck Crash
Good news for the folks in a small rural town in northeast Wyoming.
The Rozet Post Office is now open.
Last week a driver crashed his pickup into the building, causing a good deal of damage.
But today, the US Postal Service sent out this press release.
The Rozet Post Office will resume full operations on Tuesday, April 10th.
"A runaway vehicle crashed through the building last week, forcing operations to be temporarily suspended.
Herculean efforts over the weekend to make the building accessible and safe were successful.
All routes will run on time and mail can be retrieved from Post Office Boxes. The retail window will open from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Postal Service wishes to extend appreciation to customers for their patience through our recovery period."
