LANDER, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming lawmakers are taking another look at tax proposals that failed to pass this year, including a corporate income tax for large retailers.

Legislature’s Joint Revenue Committee met last week in Lander and voted to continue work on proposals to raise the state’s gas tax and allowing additional local option taxes as well as continuing discussions on the National Retail Fairness Act.

The committee decided against working on other failed tax proposals before the next session, including a lodging tax, a personal income tax and taxes on food and services.
