Wyoming Kids Can Go Flying This Weekend FOR FREE!
There is not much for a young person that can beat the thrill of climbing up to the clouds in a small plane.
To say it is inspiring is an understatement.
Each year The Experimental Aircraft Association, or EAA, takes young people up for free at your local airport.
Bring your kids ages 8-17 for a pancake breakfast and a free flight from one of the private pilots at the airport.
Wyoming Airports participating in EAA this year are in Casper and Cheyenne.

The event is held every year at history Hanger 1.
During the short flight over their town, the kids will even get a chance to put their hands on the controls, under close supervision, and feel what it is like to make a turn or town. No worries if they can't reach the peddles. The pilot will help.
The EAA hopes that a discovery flight like this might inspire young people to think about a future in aviation.
It could be one of the hundreds of careers, or it could be just the passion of being a private pilot.
So bring your kids and take plenty of pictures. They will be talking about this for a long time as they build a memory of a lifetime.
