Wyoming Inmate Convicted of Murder Dies
A Wyoming inmate serving time for murder has died, according to the Wyoming Department of Corrections.
Agency spokesman Paul Martin says 69-year-year old Louis Dean Cosco died Wednesday, March 2, at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington.
Cosco was convicted of second-degree murder in Sheridan County and was sentenced to 50 to 95 years in prison on Oct. 1, 1969, just two months after his 17th birthday.
Per departmental policy, an autopsy will be conducted to determine Cosco's cause of death.
Cosco is the second Wyoming inmate to die in Torrington this week.
