A temporary, single-lane bridge was completed Saturday allowing WYDOT to reopen the section of Wyoming Highway 130 damaged by flooding Tuesday. The modular steel bridge was opened to through traffic at about 4:15 p.m. Traffic over the single-lane bridge is self-regulating, with vehicles required to yield to oncoming traffic. A reduced speed limit is in effect and vehicle widths are restricted to 12 feet.

Truck weight limits of between 16,000 pounds and 32,000 pounds are being enforced based on the number and configuration of the trucks’ axles.  The highway section had been closed to through traffic on Tuesday after flood waters eroded a trench about 25 feet wide and nine feet deep across the road.
