WYDOT Will Conduct Blasting On Happy Jack Road Wednesday

WYDOT officials advise motorists planning a trip on Happy Jack Road between Cheyenne and Laramie on Wednesday afternoon to allow themselves a little extra time to reach their destination.

Spokesman Ross Doman says sometime between 2 pm and 4 pm Oftedal construction will stop traffic in both directions at milepost 23.8 for up to a half an hour. Blasting operations will be conducted as part of the ongoing widen and overlay of a stretch of roadway in the Curt Gowdy section.
