Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Cheyenne
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a weather statement for Southeast Wyoming for Thursday night and Friday:
"A strong cold front is expected to plow into the area tonight and Friday. The snow is also expected to develop mainly northeast of a Torrington to Alliance line this evening and then spread southwest into much of southeast Wyoming by around sunrise Friday morning. This will create a messy Friday morning commute with slick roads, low visibility and wind chills in the single digits above zero. Total snowfall accumulations will range from 2 to 5 inches, except for the mountains where over a foot is expected. For the latest road conditions, go to www.wyoroad.info for Wyoming and www.511.nebraska.gov for Nebraska. You can also dial 511 on your phone."
