Three Ways to Make A Healthy Banana Split Breakfast
Full disclosure: I love banana splits. I mean, you have no idea how much I love them. But at the same time, I like to eat healthy. So imagine my shock and delight when I found out there is a way to make a healthy banana split breakfast. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
The video, above, shows how to make everything from scratch. You can do that if you like working in the kitchen. For someone like me, I like to just open a container, dump it out, and eat it. Heck, in most cases I just eat it right from the container. That is why I provided the next two videos.
In the top video they show the process using yogurt rather than ice cream. But if you are not a fan of yogurt there are other healthy things you can use.
You can use a healthy frozen yogurt, which tastes just like ice cream. That idea is in the second video, right below.
The third video, below, once again uses non-frozen yogurt but this is Greek yogurt, which is thicker and creamier, helping it to act more like a thick scoop of ice cream. But again, some people love that flavor, some don't.
You can always used flavored yogurts, to imitate a regular split having different flavors of ice cream down the middle.
This last video shows that - whatever you put on after the yogurt - have fun, as long as it is healthy, you can pile it on.
